Why are you changing the solar panels?

The original Astronergy 415w 5s panels have been discontinued. To ensure we maintain the quality and timeline of your installation, we will be replacing them with panels of equivalent quality and efficiency. The potential replacements are either Astronergy Astro 5Ns 415w or JA Solar JAM54S30 415w panels.

Will there be any additional cost to me?

No, there will be no additional cost.

What are the benefits of the new panels?

Both the Astronergy N-type and JA Solar P-type panels offer excellent efficiency and durability. They will also ensure we can match the existing system design layout for your roof and ensure your installation schedule is not impacted.

Does this impact my warranty?

No. Both Astronergy N-type and JA Solar P-type panels offer the same warranty commitment of 25 years for product and performance.

Will this change affect my installation date?

No, the panel change will not affect your scheduled installation date. We are committed to adhering to the original timeline.

Do I need to take any action?

No action is required on you. We will automatically proceed with the best available option to ensure your installation is not delayed. If you have any concerns about the panel change, please contact our team.

Can I choose which panels will be installed?

No. Due to variations in local stock availability, the exact model of the panels will be confirmed on the day of installation. All panels offer excellent efficiency, durability and have been approved by the Clean Energy Council and the NSW Government Office of Energy and Climate Change to be used for this program.

Where can I find out the details about my installed panels?

We encourage you to review your post-installation Welcome Pack and the system manual for detailed information on the hardware installed, including warranty details and user manuals. This is typically sent 3-5 days after your installation is complete and once UPowr has completed our Quality Assurance checks on all documentation submitted by your installer.
